Dr Adam Hazell of The Tyburn

Dr Adam Hazell

Dr Adam Hazell is an experienced private General Practitioner having graduated from the University College London Medical School in 2007 and worked on London’s Harley Street since 2016. He has a great passion for his role as a family doctor and the privilege that comes from getting to know and treating patients. Dr Hazell’s experience covers a broad range of medical specialities.

Dr Hazell’s specialist interest are in musculoskeletal medicine (joint and muscle problems), sports injuries and occupational health. He gained a Master’s degree in sports and exercise medicine from the University of Bath. This has given him a firm foundation in the field of health promotion and preventative medicine. Through his experience on Harley Street he has strong links to world-class orthopaedic surgeons, sports doctors and physiotherapists if referral is required.

Dr Hazell’s other area of expertise is in Occupational Health where he holds the Faculty of Occupational Medicine Diploma in Occupational Medicine. He has provided occupational health advice to many businesses and also in the health sector, particularly through nursing and residential homes. He is often asked to support in staff well-being events and with preventative health strategies. In addition, he has a vast experience in pre-employment medicals. This includes the mining sector and he is part of a panel of doctors that is able to decide on fitness to work at sea on international cruise ships.

In addition to this, Dr Hazell also specialises in geriatric medicine and treating chronic disease, which is becoming increasingly more common in an ageing population. He has undertaken several hospital posts on geriatric, rehabilitation and stroke wards and gained the Royal College of Physician’s Diploma in Geriatric Medicine.

Over the recent COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Hazell has six months experience managing acute COVID-19 patients in a West London hospital and is passionate about monitoring and understanding the impacts of Long COVID.

Outside of his work as principle GP at The Tyburn, Dr Hazell leads a panel of doctors specialising in critical illness insurance in the financial services industry.

Alison Lewin Practice Manager of The Tyburn

Alison Lewin

Alison Lewin has a wealth of experience in running private General Practices in London’s exclusive Harley Street area. She worked for Dr Richard Cooper and Associates for over 30 years and has worked alongside Dr Hazell since 2016.

Alison takes great pride in her work, dealing with patients, accounts, marketing and administration. Her priority is the welfare of the patients and to ensure that they are dealt with in a warm and professional environment.

Alison also liaises with corporate clients and is instrumental in the smooth running of the clinic.

Debbie Sharpe

Debbie Sharpe is an experienced administrator and Client Service Manager, with over 35 years of experience in the Healthcare industry. She has previously worked as the section head of the Biochemistry Department at HCA. She has obtained the Fellowship of IBMS in Biochemistry and also been awarded the Wellcome Award for the highest score across all disciplines in an HCN in biochemistry. She has excellent knowledge of medical terminology and pathology. Since 2017 she has worked as a private GP practice manager assistant in the Harley Street area. She prides herself on providing the highest customer service to all our patients.

Debbie Sharpe

Debbie Sharpe is an experienced Administrator and Client Service Manager, with over 35 years of experience in the Healthcare industry. She has previously worked as the section head of the Biochemistry Department at HCA. Since 2017 she has worked as a private GP practice manager assistant in the Harley Street area.
